Social Media Marketing // Workshops & Training

Instagram is one of my favourite social media platforms! To be honest, I was a little late to the party – at first, I couldn’t see what sort of benefit it might offer me and my business. How wrong I was! Instagram is fun, pretty, and offers so many amazing opportunities to promote your products and services

I’ve run a number of Instagarm Marketing for Beginners workshops in Esperance, and surrounding towns such as Hopetoun, initially through the Business Development Centre Esperance and currently through Business Local (Esperance Chamber of Commerce). Here, I walked local business owners through how to set up their own Instagram page, how to post a photo to Instagram – along with caption, location, people tagging and of course, the hash tags!! We also discussed how to grow our followings on Instagram.

Following on from the success of this, I was then able to offer Instagram Marketing Advanced workshops. These sessions built on the skills developed in the beginner course, and we looked at more advanced photography techniques to take a good photo, along with new Instagram features like Stories, IGTV and name tags.

One of my favourite things about these workshops are range of people and organisations that attend. Those in established businesses to start-ups; those from industries such as accommodation, education, community/not-fo-profit organisations, real estate, audio engineering, retail, hospitality, dentists and a whole lot more! I love it when participants start sharing ideas for other people’s businesses while we’re at the sessions. Helping each other out and bouncing ideas off one another can be so helpful.

Group workshops are fantastic, but there’s a lot you can get out of one-on-one training. I’ve worked with a number of businesses directly, to assist them in setting up their Instagram page, developing a strategy and providing on-going training for them and/or their nominated employees.

I’m always looking to share the benefits and tricks of Instagram with business owners. You can book me for a group session or one-on-one training by getting in touch.
